Best serve for tennis elbow?

What is the best serve that puts the least amount of strain on tennis elbow?

Recently recovered tennis elbow player here. I was wondering what in general is the best serve- kick, flat, slice for tennis elbow? I don’t really care for playing to win- just playing to have fun. What’s the point of throwing out my arm on a flat serve and then having to sit out for 8 months again.

Obviously I don’t want my elbow to flare up again… but the other day was hitting some flat serves and could feel the discomfort twinge up. My forehand backhand is all good no pain… but the serve I can feel is starting to flare it up.

I recently went to doubles to preserve my arm health but still are all serves more prone to tennis elbow/strain? Or is it a technique thing? Thanks!

if you really want to play with TE....slice serve will be less hurtful. Make sure toss is in front.

Serving while you are recovering from TE can be alleviated by using a racquet with a generous grip size and gut strings where you can hold the racquet loosely and let the mass of the frame plough through the ball. You could wear a brace as well.
My go to racquet is the PK Q Tour’s or Volkl C10 or Angell K7 red ( leaded up a bit). Good luck with it.
Technique wise, one o’clock toss is ideal and go easy until you are totally right plus do your strength exercises and ice down after you are finished. Build up gradually / don’t be a bull out of the gate;

to me personally, slice serve is the worst for tennis elbow. you do the slice serve technique wrong and you will feel it in the elbow because you're really trying to slice/chop at that ball to keep the velocity up to flat hit standards. flat is the best serve for your elbow imo.
