Best Serving Volkl or Dunlop Racquet

I'm a strong solid 4.0 player and am looking for a few recommendations for those of you at TW that have playtested some of the Volkl and Dunlop racquets as to which ones serve the best as far as getting good racquet head speed, power, placement. I currently play with a Wilson 6.1 95 18x20, so maybe something along those lines. Any recommendations are welcome though.

Please exclude the PB 10 MID from the list though(already tried it).

Thanks

I like the Organix 10 Midplus the most out of the current Volkl line. It is not that far removed from your Wilson and will play close to the 16x18 version of the Six.One (more speed off the stringbed). I find good pace, placement and spin with it on serve.

I think both the Dunlop Biomimetic 200 and 200 plus are worth a look. I really like the 200 and it is my favorite stick from Dunlop that I've tried. I also really like the way the 200 comes through the ball on serve. It has nice plow through power with lots of control from the 18x20 string pattern. The 200 Plus offers nice access to spin, lots of control, but didn't plow through as well for me.

Hope that helps,
Chris, TW

Thanks Chris. I am demoing the Organix 10 325 right now and it is solid and powerful. Feel is far different than my Wilson, but it has a nice comfortable, solid feel. Hitting some pretty good kick serves out wide with it and down the T is good also.

I am finding it to be a good singles stick, but at the net in doubles, in quick exchanges the ball is flying off the racquet. Maybe the more open string pattern, as I'm use to a 18x20. I am using Volkl V-PRO in each racquet. It's all probably in my mind, but wondering if the Organix 10 295 would translate into a good singles/doubles racquet.

Thanks again,

Kyle
