Big 4 bagels

I got a bit interested of the bagels within the H2H of the Big 4. Being able to bagel a fellow Big 4 member requires utter dominance, playing in the god-mode, the absolute highest peak of the respective player. OTOH, if the opponent can bagel you, it's a sign of a mental collapse, weak mental toughness and weak abiity to fight when everything is going against you.

Here are all the Big 4 matches that got bagels:

Federer-Nadal:
WTF 2011: 6-3 6-0
RG 2008 1-6 3-6 0-6
Hamburg 2007: 2-6 6-2 6-0
Wimbledon 2006: 6-0 7-6 6-7 6-3

Federer-Djokovic:
2012 Cincinnati: 6-0 7-6

Federer-Murray: NO BAGELS

Nadal-Djokovic: NO BAGELS

Nadal-Murray:
Tokyo 2011: 6-3 2-6 0-6
Rotterdam 2009: 3-6 6-4 0-6

Djokovic-Murray:
Monte Carlo 2008: 6-0 6-4
Miami 2007: 6-1 6-0

Bagels served:
Federer: 4
Nadal: 1
Djokovic: 2
Murray: 2

Bageled:
Federer: 1
Nadal: 5
Djokovic: 1
Murray: 2

Going by bagel stats, the players' level peak-to-peak:

Federer > Djokovic = Murray > Nadal

An players' mental toughness:

Federer = Djokovic > Murray >> Nadal

All in all

Federer > Djokovic > Murray > Nadal!

Really, tennis matches cannot be judged on scoreline alone.

It's not a sign of weak ability, or desire to fight.

I've been a part of and have seen extremely close 6-0 sets.

If every game goes to deuce, and I just happen to win the game points - the score says it was a blowout but the ebbs and flow of the match say it was closer than the score suggests

You can have a bagel set with very little differential in points won/lost.

Interesting.

Does Rafa also hold the record for most consecutive games lost to another big 4 member (13) and fewest points won in a set (4)?

"All that time you wasted putting 'bagels' together, and for what?"

And this Rafa is still 25-7 vs Federer (2), Djokovic (3) and Murray (2) in the biggest tournaments, Grand Slams?

It doesn't matter if you win:

6-0 6-0 6-0

or

6–4, 3–6, 6–7(7–9), 7–6(7–3), 70–68

you still win :) and
as you can ask Mahut

you still lose.
