I would like people's take on the Blade Team 99 especially those who have used it or currently do. I am considering making the switch to this. How is it on the kick serve especially?

I bought Blade Team 99 new from Mid-west Sports. Yesterday I restrung my racquet and I asked my stinger to check if he could modify to suit my style. He checked inside the handle and there were some silicone already poured. I emailed Mid-West Sports Reps and they said it's how the Blade Team manufactured by Wilson.
Does anyone has the same experience where you have silicone poured inside the handle by manufacturer?
Also I compared the specs between the link below and the specs written on the frame. These two are different.
Weight: 10.7oz/304g, Balance Point: 6pts HL/32.5cm.

Thanks.

Sometimes Wilson puts a small amount of silicone in a racquet just to bring it up to the right spec. It’s fairly common. I had a Blade that had this one time.

I was just at ***** Sporting goods and they had blade team 99 and the pro staff team. As well as all the New Babolat G series.
I was kind of shocked that they were priced relatively low. Usually their “advanced” racquets are 199.99

I didn’t think either team frames were impressive. I must admit I like the countervail era pjs. But let’s just say I’m glad I didn’t waste a demo spot for the teams or the g series.

The Blade Team is an okay racquet, but the lack of a pallets messed with my mind a little. I may have to revisit it, since it’s basically a 100” racquet that feels (and swings) like a 98”.

We’ll, I bought one of these like new, and will try it again. I’ve been using the Blade Team Lite with weight since around the first of the year. The lack of pallets hasn’t bothered me. We’ll see. The Blade Team 99 is 10.8oz unstrung, and the Lite version is 9.9oz unstrung (it’s light but accepts weight very well).

Hey, have four steam 99 in blade PJ. Rather sure I am not allowed to post them for sale in the Sale section as they are prostock right?

I like the Blade Team 99 (or weighted Blade Team Lite) better than the Steam 99 or 100. The Blade seems slightly stiffer and more powerful than the Steams.
