BLX Blade 98 vs. Head Youtek Radical MP

Hi everyone:

Yes, I realize that Head will be coming out with a new version of the Radical MP in a few months, but has anybody hit with both the BLX Blade 98 and the Head Youtek Radical MP, give me their impressions.

BLX 98= More swing weight, more heavy balls, more top spin,
better for serve, nice feel.

YTK Radical= better control, better touch, easy to swing.

Overall= For me BLX 98 easy.

I agree with this post, as I tried everything from the CAPs to silicone to strings to improve the power...

Then the 260.2 came to me and it was all done... The Blade is gone.
The 260.2 is soft, great feel, control and POWER level, great spin, better tan with the BLX.
16x19 dooes it...

I apologize for my ignorance being a 50 year old middle-aged 4.0 declining hacker but what is the 260.2?

Also, what do you mean by "better tan with the BLX?"

The 260.2 is the TGK 260.2, which is the YT Radical MP with a 16x19 string pattern. T. Berdych uses it.

I think that's just a typo and what dr325i may mean is that it's "better than" the BLX Blade. (How's it going dr325i?)

I've recently been playing with a modified YT Rad MP also, and while it's nice, I do feel something is missing. That being said, if Head released a 16x19 Radical, I'd definitely try it. For now, I'm going to try the Vantage Bastcore racquets...

Love Prague! Haven't been there in almost 10 years but great place.

BTW is the updated Radical line that will be released in a few months going to include a 16 x 19? If so, will it be close to the stick you are referring to.

Probably another "pro" version that is the 16x19 pattern.
