Boris Becker Delta Core Racquets

Hey everyone. I am currently a user of the Dunlop Aerogel 500 Tour. I have been having wrist pain for the past couple of years and am now looking for a racquet with similar specs and more arm-friendly and less stiff. I have glanced at the Boris Becker Delta Core Pro and Sportster racquets and they seem very promising. Has anyone hit with these yet and could give their impressions?

I would love to hear some feedback on the new racquets, especially the sportster. I currently use the Becker V1 midplus, and enjoy it immensely. I am a 4.0-4.5 doubles player, and every time I try to go to more of a player's racquet, I go back to the V1. It just seems to give me the right amount of comfort, feel, and power.

Right now I am demoing the DC Pro and I am loving it. The DC Pro is very smooth. It has a a lot of spin access and the power great, maybe a little too high since my swing is medium-high and I can generate the pace. It is sort of in-between. I have yet to play against heavy hitters with this racquet, so I am kind of worrisome of how it is going to hold up against the faster pace. Right now I am torn between the DC London and DC Pro. It's a toss up.

Have you changed to multi and tweaked your technique? I had some lasting wrist pain (ECU tendinitis) with heavier rackets, switched to the AG500T strung with poly main and multifeel cross and my pain is now gone.

Depends on the model, but most Volkl and BB frames have a dampening grip feature that seems to ease shock.

I think rest, ice, therapy, strengthening, and smooth/efficient technique are the real answers. Secondarily, a frame, grip and string set-up that feels right.

I had a non-tennis-related wrist injury once. I did the stretches and the physical therapy, then I went back to a larger grip, a Volkl frame, poly only in the crosses, I got back into big forehands gradually, and I've been fine ever since.

Now I go back and forth between a Dunlop 200T and a Babolat Storm Ltd.

I'm currently testing the DC Legend, BLX Pro Tour and PB10Mid.

For me, the DC Legend had the worst feel of the 3. It actually felt very stiff and pingy although the results were still good. Could not get my backhand slice to work but quickly got into a groove with my topspin groundies. Great vollying frame and very stable. Serves not as good as the other 2 sticks. Overall a very good frame but not the type of feel I prefer and I did test with several strings and string set-ups.

The old Becker Pro is rated at 68 stiffness but the new DC Pro's rated at 66 but they both apparently have similiar power - I wonder how they did that?
Hey Banter, what I did with my Becker Pros was to add lead just up from the handle to increase the static weight but not add to the SW. It's working out well - I play at the 5.0 level and don't get pushed around by heavy hitters.
