He should deliver some celebration RAP lines when he wins a point or set, then people migth see more of that PERSONALITY. I don't see much of it when he plays.

just purchased this book for a long flight to asia to read.

was deciding between this and the new connors book but went with this more so to get the insight of a non star tennis player on the ATP tour.

You will enjoy Break Point, Spadea is an amusing character and he shares a lot of insights into the pro tour life. Excellent read. Classic book.

This is a 2007 thread. Spadea has retired but Breakpoint is still around.

Vince Spadea must surely be the only player to defeat Agassi, Sampras, Federer and Kuerten (on clay) in the same year (1999). Is that mentioned in his book?

Lots of pros have retired since I started playing tennis but I will always still be around.
