I don't think it seems so, although that pj is so dark it's a lil hard to tell. In any case, why would he get a paintjob if he doesn't have a contract with Wilson? So he's probably in the process of drawing up a contract, presumably for the Blade but I suppose one couldn't rule out the possibility of him switching.

that's what i was thinking. when he was playing low level tournaments it wasn't a big deal. now that he's made the second week of a slam and broken into the top 100, he might be in line for a racquet deal.

I suppose we will have to wait for the contracts to be approved. I can’t see why they wouldn’t, but if it is such a sure thing, why would he change to a blackout frame?

Because wilson wouldn't give him the contract he was happy with. and he's probably now looking for a better and bigger deal

He has an existing contract with Solinco, he uses their string and has been stenciling for a bit now. Also if you look closely his dampener has the Solinco logo on it too. Whether he ends up using their racquets too remains to be seen, although I doubt he will given the more likely option of Wilson picking him up, letting him keep his current racquet, and just giving him more money than Solinco can.
