Calling on Prestige experts: will modern Prestige grommets fit the old Composite Pro?

Just today I strung up a 20 yr old Head Composite Pro, but the grommets were so brittle that many of them cracked/broke during the process. I was able to complete the job, and the racquet seems to play very well but I certainly won't be able to restring it without new grommets (or tubing, if necessary).

Will the newer Prestige mid (600, LM, FXP, MG) grommets fit this frame? I know the printed head sizes are different, but I've heard they are actually the same or very close. The string pattern is certainly the same (18x20). If anyone knows for sure, I'd much appreciate the info...

Awesome, thanks; I think I found my answer. I forgot about the recent "capping guide" thread. I normally don't play with Head sticks, so I didn't really pay attention to it before. Anyway, I still welcome responses here as well that are specific to the Comp Pro. I assume I would want to use the earliest version of the Prestige grommets that I can find, but if the later versions also work on the Comp Pro that would be nice to know. The CAPs might make this stick really nice; I've noticed that there is already a good amount of heft to it, and that it's not extremely head light. Very solid. Might be in the KPS88 ballpark with CAPs :)

Yepper, Microgel CAPs for the Prestige mid will work on your Composite Pro 600.

Post a pic in the CAP thread when you complete the job!
