Cap AND headband?

I just got this really nice Drifit Cap (the climacool adidas one looked without shape and structure) and found that was good for keeping the sun out of my eyes (duh!) but sucked at sweat control department. Nothing beats my thick and powerful adidas headband, so, would be a nice idea to wear both? I tried them out, and fitted well, but never saw a guy wearing this kind of mix before...

He's an ugly dude and has no talent, but he's buff.

In any case, I sometimes wear a halo headband (the type with the rubber strip) and a hat. The headband keeps sweat out of my eyes and the hat limits the sunburn on my face. I'm more concerned about performance and function than style.

No, that's a do-rag and a hat. haha. I wonder if the bullet-proof vest would help on the court...

Anyways, it may look a little odd, but it's all about what works for you. So if it's comfortable and keeps the sweat out of your eyes, go for it.

C'mon guys - Fitty is so a Baller'.

That's not a bullet-proof vest, but a weighted-vest. I've seen him practice footwork while wearing it.

:p

(Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. When I read the question, I immediately pictured a "gangster")

In all seriousness, a hat and a couple of wrist-bands may do the trick...

Believe it or not, I saw a guy at a tournament wearing a do-rag :-? :?:

what's the function of the do-rag?

That question made my day (not ridiculing you, just the irony)

officially, its considered "pimpin fresh" to wear a do rag:

I disagree
It has no function, and it makes you look like an ass

fitty would own Federer any day. He's been shot 9 times yo.

Actually, because I cut my long hair off, I've been looking for new headgear when I play tennis. Do-Rag might be my next choice next to making the Federer/Nadal bandanas into the Agassi style.

I occasionally wear a "do-rag" for sweat control and avoiding sunburn on my bald dome.. What's the beef with a bandanna? I sometimes wear headbands, but I must admit my wife is right that it sort of makes me look like Curly from the Harlem Globetrotters.. You guys with hair are just pretty boys.. :D

What you're talking about is a full bandana

a real du rag looks like a pair of underwear tied around someones head

i tried the headband and cap and did not really like it. but if it works then i would say go with it. i have the same problem and hopefully i will find a hat that also absorbs the sweat. but i sweat a lot so i doubt that i will fing that hat anytime soon...

You're right.. I am referring to a bandanna.. If a do-rag serves the same purpose, I'd be ok wearing that.. Sort of look like the eminem of tennis, huh? :-D

I wear a Halo headband inside with a Nike drifit hat outside. The Halo headband is pretty thin so it fits well inside the hat, yet absorbs a lot of sweat and transferred it out to the hat.
