Cleaning tennis bag?

Anyone have any advice on how to clean a tennis bag?

outside? just wash it carefuly.

inside? avoid dirting using plastica bags inside.

Washing machines are not gently with tennis bags.

Hang it from something and use a hose and a little laundry detergent on a sponge or rag.
Then hose it off and let it hang to dry
