Comparison of Ankle braces

I need an ankle brace for my left ankle - getting older and my flat left foot can no longer take the 4.5 - 5.0 tennis I compete in and thus I need better stability than just plain old tennis shoes. These are the braces I am interested in hearing back from you fine folks:

Cramer's Active Ankle AS1 Ankle Brace
ASO EVO Ankle Stabilizer
ASO Ankle Brace
Kallassy Ankle Brace
McDavid Ankle Brace
Aircast A60

I recently purchased the Cramer's Active Ankle AS1 Ankle Brace and it just doesn't fit or feel right. My feet are 11.5 and the Cramer's medium is a little small and the large too big. I have tried on the McDavid's at another local sporting goods store and their large seems fine, however I really want to try out the others but can't find them here in Atlanta and thus I would appreciate getting your comments. Thanks again

I have tried others, but you be pretty hard up to find a better brace than the ASO braces. Just my opinion. But after a broken left ankle and a severely sprained right ankle, I don't step on the court without them. For basketball or tennis.

Thanks G-Bomb21. I heard that the McDavid are essentially the same as the ASO, can someone confirm such.

Essentially, yes. They are built behind the same basic concept (lace up boot + 2 straps for heel locks) and are very similar. The big difference is construction and this greatly effects the fit in my opinion. McDavid's brace seem to not fit as well as the ASO, but then again the ASO are more expensive than the McDavid.

Maybe OT, but be sure to start doing foot and ankle exercises to help fix your problem.

Pulling a towel with your foot, spelling the alphabet, etc. Simple, little time required and very effective.

How is the durability among these braces? Also, which one or other(s) provide the best medial, (inside), ankle support?

I have two of the Mcdavid braces and they are solid performers, but they will stretch out your shoes over time as with regular use of any ankle brace, so plan accordingly.

I have the BioSkin Trilok ankle brace and really like it. I tried the McDavid and the ASO EVO models at a sporting goods store and wasn't impressed. I did some research online and found some recommendations for the Trilok. The Trilok works great for me and I wear it every time I play. Consequently one of its three pieces is starting to show some wear and I will probably have to replace the whole thing about every 2 years.
I didn't buy mine here but that is the price I paid:

Beernutz, how is the medial (inner) ankle support of the BioSkin Trilok?? I need extra support for the inner part of the ankle between the arch and that boney piece that sticks out.
