Gatlin had his personal best at 33-34, Federer's age when he lost those 5 big matches to Djokovic.

And speed is just a minor part of tennis.
Hence the use of the word 'basically'; and besides, choosing someONE who is 100% juiced up to the absolute gills is unlikely to translate perfectly. Just watch the damned tennis.

And stop adding that stupid qualifier to soften the blow to your point.

As i wrote in the other thread (HC stats):
  • Federer stats vs the field 2004-2007 = 2015
  • 2004-2007 = 2015 means Federer is peak 2015
  • Federer losing to Djoko AO/USO 2015 means Djoko > Peak-Fed
By this follows logically:
  • Djokovic stats vs the field 2015=2014
  • 2014=2015 means Djokovic peak 2014
  • Djoker losing to Nishi/Stan AO/USO 2014 means Nishi/Stan > peak-Djoko
This is exactly how relevant your objective stats are.

Nishi and Stan were not beating the whole field

Federer had his best results aged 23-26.

You saying he was playing his best ever aged 33 is your opinion.
