Hi, I have a Dunlop Biomimetic 400.

If I were to add 1 gram (total) of lead tape to the head at 3 & 9 what would the balance be? Would it affect the stock 6pts headlight balance?

I am only adding 1 gram at the moment as I want to go very slowly with the customisation but if anyone could help me understand the specific effect of 1 gram at 3 & 9 I would be very grateful.

These are the stock specs:

Strung Weight: 10.9oz / 309.01g
Balance: 6 pts HL

One gram at 3&9 would lengthen the balance by 0.5 mm. 6 pts headlight is about 32.5 cm balance. So your new balance would be 32.55 cm. Customizers measure balance in centimeters or millimeters for just this reason. Small amounts of lead added to the head will change the swingweight significantly, but have only a tiny effect on balance.
