cyber flash vs MSV focus hex

I've used MSV Focus hex for a month.
I really like the string especially spin and now I consider to buy reels.
before I buy reels I am curious about cyber flash.
actually, cyber flash ($65-760mm) is cheaper than MSV ($74-660mm) but cyber flash does not offer colored string.
I don't string my racket so I don't want to spend $25 to try cyber flash at this point.

can anybody compare between cyber flash and MSV focus hex?

MSV will definately produce more spin. However, cyber flash still has good spin. Cyber flash is also really durable and is more powerful than the MSV, but MSV has more control. What's your playing style?

I started to playing tennis about 10 weeks ago:)

I don't know what is my playing style yet.
my coach told me I might be able to compete with 3.5 level but I think I am 3.0 level.

I try to hit as hard as I can so I don't like too much power in the string. actually, I had a prince black racket for a month then I realized that the racket had too much power for me so I changed speedport tour with MSV focus Hex @63 lbs. I really like both racket and string. I just bought back-up racket (speedport tour) so I need to decide whether I should use MSV string or cyber flash.

my first priority will be topspin. second will be less power string.
then durability, control etc......

i dont know what i think msv is junk it loses tension like a ruber band, i'd go with either cyber flash 17 or cyber blue 17 they are the best copoly strings I've ever used and they come with a acceptable price tag.

If you are a beginner, I would suggest to choose the string that feels most comfortable to you, not the one that produces most spin. The amount of spin depends much more on technique than on the string.

Personally, I thought that MSV lost tension extremely slowly.

I much prefer Cyber Flash to the MSV. They both give the same amount of spin and Cyber Flash is slightly more powerful and does have better tension maintenance.

Not used cyberflash sorry, but am using MSV hex and really enjoying it. Just a solid string which is consistent. Deciding between this and Blue gear, which seems to be less consistent.

Just to add, does anyone else have any views of tension maintenance between the MSV and Big ace? I thought the MSV held it better myself, any other views?

i ve used big ace micro and it's loses tension quicker than MSV hex 17 but since it so thin it's expected. I have not tried other gauges however. However of all the low price string i've tried i think CF and C Blue (17 gauge) 9are the best bang for your money.

I've used Topspin Cyberflash before but not MSV Focus Hex. How do Focus Hex and Cyber Flash compare in softness and elasticity? Which one gives you better feel for how the ball is responding off the string bed?

msv hex is tops

tried both hex 1.10 and cyberflash 1.25 side by side in my speedport black thou i prefer cyber in 1.20 gauge .with gosen micro jc crosses, its great ..the hex has more of everything, power spin, feel, comfort and control because of spin production. it suffers in cold outdoor conditions under 8 degrees centigrade all month in the uk. may be more than most polys becoming dead of speed. also tried sppp 1.18, this has the best feel of all polys but msv hex is my favorite.

The guy is a beginner. Hey man, why not try gut? If you want more topspin, strings can't do that for you, proper technique can. Try taking more lessons, get your technique to be as best as it can be, and then throw in some poly. Poly can't help you get spin if you can't produce it without poly.

I played with MSV for a while and I think it's a great string. I live in the Netherlands and a reel of MSV is pretty cheap (€49,- that's like $67,-). Maybe just buy a set of both and deside which you like most, because just like what the others say: It's all about technique.

Does anyone know if the Focus-Hex strings' colors change after stringing? For example, if I get a set of red strings, will they look more pink than red after I string it?
