Dead feel and strings breaking

I currently play with a 300g with PSGD (yellow) at 62lbs. I haven't found a string that gives me better initial feel. It feels awesome and crisp for about 2 hours and then it feels dead to me. I am also lucky not to break it within 5 hours. It's not a huge problem for me because it's cheap string and I also string my own racquets, but there are times that it just gets annoying. I hate having to string my own racquets that much. I currently have reals of Wilson Extreme Synthetic 16, Wilson Enduro Pro 16, Wilson Sensation 16, and Wilson Stamina 16. I'm not a fan of the stamina, it just doesn't feel right to me. I like the sensation but I have the same problems with that as I do with the PSGD. I have yet to try the Wilson Extreme Synthetic or the Wilson Enduro Pro. What are your takes on these two strings in comparison to the Prince Synthetic Gut with Duraflex. Also, are there any strings I should try out that feel like PSGD but doesn't go dead or break so prematurely? Maybe I could make a hybrid? I'm not looking to spend a fortune on strings (no more than 8 bucks). I also don't want something too stiff (like a poly) that will end up hurting my arm. Sorry this is a lot to ask for so thanks in advanced!

Jasonbourne, I do also have some Gosen OG sheep micro 16. I enjoy this string a lot... is that rendition you mentioned a lot different?

Jason, I read about the string. From what I understand it is a rendition from OG sheep micro but I'm asking if you've used it and how does it compare? From the comments I read it seems like it's just an average string that loses its liveliness and durability in a reletively short period of time. I'm really looking for a string that holds it's elasticity rather well. If I can get 5 hours of solid play out of a string without it losing elasticiy, I'll be rather happy.

MAC, I have not used this string. One of my practice partners in the past with similar racket to you does and told me it is similar to the og-sheep micro I use, but crisper.

I can tell you the gosen syngut strings consistently have better durability and playability compared to prince synguts at similar price point.

I can say the JC strings up better than virtually any other solid-core syn gut and allows a more consistent response across the stringbed. If you can't like it now you need to pursue another string category.

I virtually never recommend anything poly-based to anyone, but in your case you might qualify for it. Because there is Prince's Lightning Power, a blended string out there that might meet your criteria. I would still cut it out rather than wait for it to break, however.
