I currently play with an APDC. I am demoing the new Pure Storm GTs. I have demoed the PS LTD and just the Pure Storm(Light one). I hated the normal Pure Storm but, I really like the Limited. I am going to demo the Pure Storm Tour when my local pro shop gets it strung up for me(Should be tomorrow).
The PS LTD is strung with Addiction 16 and I am use to playing with a Poly. I have been playing with ethier PHT or lux for about a year and a half now. I can generate alot of spin and have alot more control with my shots from the PS LTD then the APDC but, I broke a string in the PS LTD and picked up my APDC and it just felt like I had more power and almost the same amount of control.
The only thing is that the APDC just feels like it pockets the ball more and generates more power. My game is based around me being able to put balls away with my forehand and getting cheap points with my serves.
The only problem is that I don't know if the string in the PS LTD is the reason I am not getting the power I am use to. I have never used a better string then Luxilion ALU Power Rough or ALU Power and haven't really ever felt the same ball pocketing feel with other strings.
So my question is...
Is the reason I am not getting the same power and the ball pocketing feel because the PS LTD is strung with Addiction a less powerful string then something like ALU Power Rough or ALU Power?
Power- APDC
Control- Tie
Spin- PS LTD
Forehand- APDC
Backhand- PS LTD
Volleys- PS LTD
Serves- APDC(By a little)
Do you guys think I would like the tour a little more then the LTD?
