Diadora Speedzone Ax Men's Shoes

How are the Diadora Speedzone Ax Men's Shoes...

I've worn these shoes in the past:

nike air zoom vapor speeds
nike air zoom vapor 3's
adidas barricade 1
adidas CC Boom

I'm looking for a really really light weight shoe with a glove like feel and with decent cushioning...how's the Speedzone Ax or any other suggestions? Oh and try to make them under 80 dollars...thanks

I have them. They feel soft without any break-in until you hit courts. Diadora's have always been harsh to me initially when breaking them in. Once they break in though, they hold up quite well. They provide adequate support, yet nothing like Adidias Barricades. They are light and quick. You may or may not like the lack of tongue within the shoe. I would have preferred a tongue--the 'tongue' in this shoe disappears right at the top lace. For the price though, they are a good quality shoe.

Excellent shoe, highly recommended. Looks good, lasts well, lightweight. Like saram said I wish there was more of a tongue but it has a soccer shoe type look/feel I think thats what they were going for.

Buy 10+ pairs. Not in size 12 though because I want another pair soon.

I have non-SX Speedzone but basically the same shoes. I like light weight and low to the ground feel, but the shoes gave me black toe nails and pain in forefoot, not enough lateral and tongue is paper thin. Probably OK for a match play, but not for practice over 1 hr. Switched to Adidas Prevail, and Diadora left in the trunk for 2 months now.
