Difference between Progression & X-Stringer

Hi could somebody enlighten me on the difference between the Progression and X-Stringer series stringing machines from Gamma?

Also why are the Progression machines cheaper than the X-Stringer.

There were more differences when the X-Stringers were introduced, now the only different is the base. The Progressions have a sand cast frame as the base with an ABS cover on it. the X-Stringers are extruded aluminum that is anodized blue. also there is a drawer(s) in the bases of the X-Stringers.

it is the cost differences in manufacturing.

what is the difference between the electric tensioners on the progression and the x-stringer? visuallly, they dont seem to be the same unit.

the only difference is the case, all the internal parts are identical for the X-Es & EsII+.
