Difference between RPM "Blast" and RPM "Team"?

hi what is the difference between the rpm blast and rpm team? i hear the rpm blast looses tension fairly quickly is it the safe for rpm team? Because im planning on getting these strings in 17G

I've used both as crosses paired with Tonic + mains and I found that Team keeps its playability quite a bit longer than Blast. I couldn't tell you why but I get about 6-7 weeks of really good play with that setup where RPM Blast was about 3-4 tops. In terms of feel I couldn't tell you if one was softer than the other.

Did you notice any tension loss on the blast and team?

Pretty rapid tension loss with Blast. Not the case with Team. Team seemed to last about twice as long for my needs. Of course this is my humble opinion and I don't have an ERT to take actual measurements. But I've played both pretty extensively and for me there are definite differences in the longevity of both strings. Team is a winner for me.

I agree the team plays good much longer than the blast, it is also more arm friendly.

i have not yet played with rpm team yet. looking for a solid cross to bab ton + mains.

i am very curious about it regarding tension maintenance and long term playability over time based on this tw report that make it very clear it is the longest lasting (holds tension well over time) and best playing (maintaining its slippery characteristics) poly bar none:

i just ordered a set of team to try out.

I think the "Team" version is for tension maintenance and the "Blast" version is for spin and playability. Never hit with Team but Blast was terrible at holding tension imo.

For me Team actually feels more firm (contrary to Babolat mktg). Blast spins better. Team lasts longer and maintains firmness longer. I like them both a lot. Both hurt your arm if you string tight. I always cut my strings out after 2-3 matches if I don't break them so I never really play polys till they die anyway. They're both too expensive for me. BHB7 and Cyclone (not as firm though) seem to play just as well for half the price for 2-3 matches. If I didn't care about $$ I'd probably play a full bed of RPM Team in all my frames.
