I just watched him in Rotterdam vs another tricky player who's made his way back into the top 100 and no I don't believe in jinxes nor am I related to the one who invented the Tarot.

He's moving well, his backhand is more solid compared to 2015-mid 2016, his serve is much more consistent, precise and powerful. His forehand, has a laser guide on it at times. Plus he doesn't have to play his best to win either. I hope he wins in Rotterdam, big credit to Dani Vallverdu also.

He's lost just one match so far since playing in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sofia and Rotterdam. By the laws of averages he'll be inside the top 10 soon and will stay there until at least Cincinnati and Canada come around.

I saw these two articles which grabbed my attention.

Grigor Dimitrov: 'The loss to Nadal hunts me down at night. I could have beat Federer too' - http://www.**************.org/news/...down-at-night-i-could-have-beat-federer-too-/

Grigor Dimitrov ready to move on from the 'Baby Fed' nickname, says Mark Petchey - http://www.**************.org/news/...from-the-baby-fed-nickname-says-mark-petchey/

Bulgarian star Grigor Dimitrov is set to move on from the 'Baby Fed' nickname which he was given by the media, says Mark Petchey of Sky Sports.

Dimitrov, who was compared to the great Roger Federer due to his playing style when he first arrived on the tour, was pressured by the nickname. At 25 years of age, the Bulgarian has yet to win a Grand Slam title and his career high ranking saw him sitting at number eight in the world.

''The nickname has not sat well with him, I'm sure. It was probably nice to be put in the same category as Fed at the start, but after a while I think it almost became something he would rather offload,'' Sky Sports' Tennis expert Petchey said, as quoted by Sky Sports.

Dimitrov has been red hot this year, winning 15 matches and losing only once. He made it all the way in Brisbane and Sofia - lost in the Australian Open semi-finals to Rafa Nadal.

The world number 12 is as well getting closer to his career high ranking of world's number eight, which he achieved in 2014.

''He is very much his own player as we saw in Australia. He has a very attractive game, as well as being a super nice person. We probably need to get to a stage in the media where we celebrate his tennis, rather than putting him in the shadow of Roger,'' Petchey added

He's a pretty likeable guy and player. Easy to root for. I think most of us have been waiting for another guy to step up, and he would probably one of the unanimous favorites if a poll could decide.

He got quite a bit stronger in the past year or so which has definitely helped.
