I believe Grigor will win a slam either this year or next year so please this is not some "insult" thread, I like his game and I always adore the one handed backhand whether it be of the racket of Grigor, Roger, Tommy, GGL, Lopez or Stan.
You can call me a Haastard, I don't like his attitude sometimes but I enjoy his game like I do with Dimitrov's. People pushed this Baby Fed moniker on Grigor when their games are more different, just certain strokes are similar. Grigor is an athletic specimen who hasn't hit his heights yet but he will.
Talent is not overrated, well it can be on this forum, it should be embraced even if this "talent" beats your favorite player.
Grigor like Haas is emotionally erratic at times, he can get down on himself although he's maturing within that department.
Grigor like Haas has a massive collection of weaponry, they have cutting slices, devesting backhands, great serves and a hefty forehand though they have so much weaponry at their disposal at times it can be a tricky for them to use the right shot in a rally.
Grigor Like Haas when at their best have proved they can beat the best or give the best a hard time. Haas has beaten numerous world number 1's in his career, Dimitrov has pushed Nadal on numerous occasions and has beaten Djokovic whom since 2011 has been the best player on the tour.
At this moment when Haas has at Dimitrov's age he was at number 2 in the world, briefly, Dimitrov is going to get there soon (opinion is not a fact), Haas did the semi trick at the Australian Open, like Dimitrov did at Wimbledon and will do again.
When all is said and done Dimitrov will eclipse the achievements of Tommy Haas, his body is strong and injury free, he's improving all the time regardless of the reservations of some...his time will come.
I said this when Grigor played Marcos in the 3rd round of the Australian Open.
