Aside from working on simplifying his service motion that conjures up more breaks of serve than clutch serves; I wonder what Dimitrov's intent was in changing racquets initially and if he gave up on this process prematurely. Federer's racquet change did little for him initially, exchanging shanks for unforced errors, it wasn't until he began to flatten out the backhand that the true potential of his bigger frame came to fruition. I am curious If Dimitrov glossed over adjusting his topspin heavy technique with an addendum of more aggressive shots with his 'old/experimental' racquet. Additionally I am curious if an ATP pro receives no added benefit from changing form a 93 to 95 inch frame hence why he made the leap to 97/98 a la Federer. I would be curious what Dimitrov would do with a 95 inch frame and a stronger inclination to hit over the top of the ball.
