Djokovic deserves some warmth from crowds

yes, in the past the guy was a bit of a prat at times, but in his later years now he has grown up he seems to be a nice guy...Nadal called him a good guy the other night.

Obviously he will never have the reverance of federer, or the same support Nadal gets as they came before him, but he deserves more than every great performance to be greeted with silence.

His racket smashing apart he is a good ambassador for the game and respectful of opponents and he is doing amazing things right now.

By all means, we true fans on here should kep up the good natured banter between Fedrer.Nadal/Djokovic fans as we enjoy it and its all good fun, but Djokovic does now deserve more applause and warmth from crowds across the world.

he was also a legend for sayin IW should be a Grand Slam. I know he said it should have a statuss of its own, but we know he was in actual fact supporting my thread i posted a few days ago, and i acknowledge and appreciate the endorsement Novak, thank you and well said sir.

I use to hate the guy. Since he married and had a kid he seems to have matured into a better person. I pull for him now, except when he plays Fed. He for sure has the best game by far right now.

Snap, other than when he plays with Rafa i want him to win, although when he plays federer im a bit torn as for all the banter with Fedrer fans, i have to admire the guy playing like he does at 34.

I think deep down the fanbases of all three quite like the other two they dont support and as the three are getting older, and we see the robots who are coming through we realise that once this God trio go, mens tennis is going to be as bad as the womens!

He will never get it in US and EU (+CHF). Why?! Cuz he trashed all the idols admired around here :D

He got a hell of attention in South America, Asia and Africa though (which have few top tournaments but way much more spectators).
