Well, the question is begging to be asked, so I will.

Federer win
Cons: Federer gains #21, #6 in New York, and probably cements his slam race win.
Pros: Nadal less likely to win YE#1, Nadal doesn't get #19 and potentially move past 21 in the coming years.

Nadal win
Pros: Federer remains at only 20 slams, and Nadal still has less. Possible to catch up to both of them.
Cons: Nadal has 4 US Opens, ahead of Djokovic. Nadal also has 19 slams, with a good chance of getting 2 more French Opens, meaning the slam race could go beyond 20 fairly soon. Nadal also cements his place in the Race To London and it's hard to see him lose it.

Plus more, but I can't think of it right now.

Nadal. I find Fed arrogant, I used to be a Fed fan, but I find that Djokovic has become more likeable in recent years. So I switched my allegiance.
20 is still and achievable target for Rafa, and even Djoko should have another good 2-3 years, if all goes well.

I never change. As always, if Djokovic couldn't make it to the final himself, then that old Swiss dude is my preference.

Slam race is the only thing tennis has right now , You put Federer at #21 and it's almost over.
Even at #21 it will still be a big talking point as long as Djokovic and Nadal are still healthy and at the top of the game and the young guns aren't breaking through (which doesn't look that likely atm although Thiem may be able to snatch RG if Nadal declines just enough)

I hope Roger will play until he is 60 and win 50 slams at least. You never know will somebody catch on to slam record, so better be safe.

In an Ideal scenario, i want Monfills or Schwartzman to win it. No Grand SLam for any of Noles toughest COmpetitor, Fedal,Wawa,Medvedev, nobody

But realistically speaking, its not gonna happen, so i am okay with Nadal winning the whole thing. If Fed gets to 21, its gonna take more effort for Nole to chase it down. Fed stays at 20, and Nadal at 19, i am okay with it.

It doesn't matter to me if Novak gets slam record, but it is an interesting sub plot to the Slams, thus I want Nadal. If he gets to 19 and Roger is at 20 and Novak at 16, it is going to add to the plot for next year. If Roger gets 21 than it is a good year or two before anyone gets within 1 or 2 to make it interesting again. Also I enjoy seeing Fed fans lose their minds over the idea that someone might pass him.:-D

You know what? I'm going to say Med or Nadal. I can't support Fed or Wawrinka and Monfils is a clown. The rest doesn't matter.
