I am afraid he will wake up when a certain Russian or a Spaniard is at the top of the rankings..

His goal is slams, he is wide awake, what he will not do is go the extra mile in non-slam events like he did in the past.

He has won everything important there is to win in tennis. Some might say Olympics is important but more so in a patriotic sense. Every big title in tennis that is played every year, Djokovic has won. Now it's only about reaching 20 Slams and beyond for him. He is trying to conserve what's left for these events.

Exactly, that is all that is left for him, and he's got a couple of years left him to get that record. If he manages to pick at least one more this year, then he will seeing the finish line and will likely focus on this goal even more than before.

Goran is.looking more and more useless..Is not challenging intellectually Novak at all..blaberring useless statements.in between..

Atleast Becker used to keep Novak in "check" and keep him grounded at all times..

After Wawarinka match at 2015,I remember Becker saying in Public that Novak just wanted the RG to be handed over to him instead of fighting for it..

What is Goran bringing to the table?

To be honest Rafa is the the top favorite to win RG, the way he strikes the ball and how he moves. Only his back problems are holding him back. Novak is in the process to raise his fitness level for the clay.
I only dislike his movement in his asic shoes on clay. He is slipping to much when he needs to accelerate. It didn't happen when he wore adidas sneakers.

Good to see him enjoying life outside of the courts. It’s all good till it’s not, and he seems aware of this and taking advantage. The tennis and records will take care of themselves.
