Djokovic Poor Performance in Rome

Under the guidance of Marian Vajda, Djokovic achieved a spot in the SF where he put in all his energy and power against Nadal yet hadn't eaten enough of a vegan diet to win the match. People seem to think that Djokovic is back to his peak form as we saw in the clay and grass season of 2017 but this is far from correct. Djokovic's performance last year in Rome was some of the best tennis we have seen him play in his career as he made the Finals of a masters, his best result since 2016. This result was achieved while being enlightened by his great coach Pepe Imaz.

2018 Rome- Vajda: Lost in the Semi-Final

Through these results, you can see that Imaz's coaching ability would enable Djokovic to win 12 more grand slams. Pepe's ability to siphon funds from Djokovic's bank account and fix Djokovic's diet so he can become more aerodynamic are some of the many reasons why Djokovic is getting close to playing at his peak, yet he still isn't there.

If Djokovic wants to win Grandslams again, he must fire Vajda and hire Pepe as a Full-Time coach.
