Does James Blake custimize his 300g??

Does James Blake custimize his 300g?? if so do you know what he does to it??

I believe he customizes it by receiving it directly from Dunlop in a form that resembles the off-the-shelf 300g only cosmetically.

I have read here on the boards in the past that Blake actually uses a Topspin racquet painted like the Dunlop. I believe the stick was the 603.

He definitely does not use a 300g in any form other than paint.

It has been said and confirmed that Blake uses a Tyger frame.

Jonas is correct in that he uses a Tyger frame which is like a cross between a ton of frames.A few other players are using this mold like Alexandra who I beleive switched to this mold from her old Prestige Classics and MW 200g's and Hass used a Tyger frame for a while.

Yes the 300g is an excellent frame and is among the best out at one of the best prices.It's a great platform for cusomization and it's only flaw is lighter weight and short handle. No as far as I know you can not get a Tyger frame off any shelf becuase I beleive they are made custom for Tyger by another racquet manufacturer.

Yes, but it's an abnormally short handle for men with large hands.

i agree w/ hawaii on the 300G, very fast head racquet speed w/ stock weight, but unstable. using it against "pushers" or slower paced shots, it worked well, but against heavy hitters, it just didn't have enough "weight" behind the shot. good platform for customization thou.

I also can confirm after talking to the Dunlop rep that blake does not use the 300g

I also do not like the 300 or 200G graphite it is very dead feeling, I even customized frames to 13oz and put fairway grips on...still a dead feeling raquet. Now the original 200G MAX..that is some good graphite.

In my opinion, For a current players frame the Wilson 85 PS & tour 90, Pro Kennfx 5G PSE & Laver C, the Volkl C-10 Pro is decent too. Head is getting better but frames are still too light. Prince is crap.

A: jennifer, in my spare time i really like to relax. i'm so busy when i'm on the road, that when i come home i really like to just sit by the pool and barbecue. i'm also a sports nut, so i like to play golf, beach volleyball and basketball. as for the racket that i recommend, i use the dunlop 300G. i think this is a great racket, and if you don't like that one, i'm sure dunlop makes a racket that you would like.
