Done with Prince, Next The Touch

After a while playing with Prince 100P n Wilson Blade 98 2015 18x20, i would like to try out the Touch series from Head.

In my history of racquetholism, i've tried The Radical MP (both graphene and xt graph) i found it more and more stiffed feel, which i dont like. Then the new touch came out with the advertisement 'more touch, more softed feel'

So, is it the Touch speed more soft (compare to my current stick 100p and Blade)? I would to try the TS MP, the Pro has similar 18x20 string pattern but i afraid it a bit heavier (i've played with Tour G 310gr, same weight with the Speed pro and cant swing it smoothly)

Thanks alot

Just gave the touch speed mp a long demo. Great for serves and overall was pretty similar to a blade in a more headlight and faster package. Not quite as much punch as a hefty blade but u can get more raquet speed on the run

I don't mind the touch series in that I can appreciate that Head has tried to engineer some comfort into their frames, something that I think has been missing since the twin tube frames. The pricing of their frames here in Australia is too high ($359-$379). The flex of these frames is in the low 60's which I like. I do think the feel of the Textreme frames are very good so don't discount using them again if you need to.

Head's trying to market comfort into their frames. They gave up on engineering comfort and playability into them years ago.

New touches were OK with the multi once strung with poly I had zero feel of where am I hitting the ball

The Touch series is definitely softer than the Graphene or XT versions but when I tried the new Touch Pro, the SW was much lower than the original Speed version. It just lacks plow but is less harsh on your arm.

I used to play with the 100p until it cracked (RIP) and won a speed touch pro in a raffle. I would say that both the rackets are extremely comfortable and soft, but the head lacks the pop of the prince. I felt like I really had to hit for the fences to get a deep ball. I would say that the 100p is easier to swing but is equally soft to the touch speed. I would also add that the touch speed feels it's best during serves and would give it the advantage over the 100p.

You played with the touch MP, did you, @n8dawg6? How is your thought about it?
ive used the touch MP ... it's a lot like the graphenes just more muted. ive played the XT speed pro a good bit. it is decidedly more crisp than the 100P, but man it's tough on the arm with poly. to me, the pattern on the speed pro is almost too tight ... it is a tighter pattern in the center than the prestige MP, 100P, blade 18x20, etc.

will say that the speed MP is quicker, has less plow, has higher launch angle than 100P. a little flimsy on off-center hits.
Let's just saying, im about to change from 18x20 to 16x19 and i pick the MP because of muted feel as you said. Is it a good idea? I think im not good enough to play 100p against 4.0+, still learning to be more aggressive baseliner but it takes quite long :)

Im not Babolat fan so stay out of every Babolat stick.
