Dunlop Black MAX

I was wondering if someone could tell me how does Dunlop Black MAX compare to Dunlop MAX 200G in play... Dunlop MAX 200G is my all time favorite racquet and I am looking for something close to it. Now, I know all of its history and so on so please just answer the original question. I have hit with the Black MAX, but that was in the eighties so I have absolutely no idea what it felt like. With this stupid tendency of making tennis racquets stiffer and lighter every next generation, I am looking for the answers in the old racquets. Thanks!

i played with it for one set, and i have to say it does not compare at all to modern sticks. i'm pretty sure that the stick had a 82" headsize and also a flex in the low 40-50s. that stick was really flrexy. biggest obstacle to overcome.

The 200G and the Black Max are not at all similar. The Black Max was not injection molded and the feel and flex are totally different.

as everyone stated above. The racquet is nothing like the 200g. I had to use it for almost a month during my senior year of tennis. I did not have enough money for another 200g and used my friends for around a month. A decent racquet in those days, but remember being glad to play my 200g when it arrived (after saving for a few weeks).

What happened to your original 200G?
