Seek advice from all the Dunlop Max 200G experts out there!
I have recently purchased a Max 200G (i.e. one of the earliest version with the 2 green pin stripes on both sides of the frame; and the grip is black leather with the words "Dunlop" imprinted in gold ... I believe it's the version that J. Mac used). It says Light 2 but the grip feels/looks quite round-ish and then I discovered underneath the "Dunlop in gold leather grip" there's another black leather grip ! So it's leather on leather. Given the age of the racket both grips looked old hence I can't tell whether someone modified it for whatever reasons or is it the original setup?? I removed the leather grip at the bottom and uses only the gold Dunlop leather grip and the racket seems to be very head heavy and is very different than those I have played before.
