Dunlop Strings

I work for a tennis club and looking at placing a re order for dunlop string. Curently we have Black Widow, Explosive, Silk and S-Gut.

I want to phase out the ones we have and get some of their other string

I really want to try out Juice or Ice for Poly and Hexy Fiber or Pearl for Multi before I put in an order

I've played with the ones we have in stock and I don't really care for any of those. Any one like the other ones?

What you have is a very good selection. Maybe trade out the Silk for Hexy Fiber. HF is a great cross string. But HF tends to lock out of place quite a bit when strung in a full bed. A nice full bed multi would be DNA. I tried Pearl in white. It was very stiff for a multi and it broke on me twice when tying off, and that normally doesn't happen to me.

If you've been using S-gut 16, that measures 1.35 mm according to Tennis Industry's numbers. I liked the 17 gauge a lot and your members might find it easier to play with.

If you want a change from Explosive, Juice is different and I've read that it holds tension very well. Ice is sort of an advanced string. It is muted and felt sort of rubbery to me, but better players have reported liking it, but change it out weekly. One player described it as a good disposable tournament string.

I hope you get more advice, as this either isn't well developed or is second hand. Also, my understanding is that you'll be testing the strings yourself before purchasing, so my advice can be helpful in deciding what to test.

Dunlop DNA is my favorite multi playability wise and could be your high end standard. Hexy Fiber would complement it as the budget multi. The durability is not great for either one of them but it will get you more business. :)

I've only tried Black Widow mains once and did not care for it. Still have not tried their other polys yet.

Explosive is alright, but I would like to get just more options
