Dunlops on sale

I have seen new pictures of top Dunlop players wielding new "equipment", paintjobs. However I don't know how Dunlop will act in the US market - so far it's advertising has been somewhat lacking when compared to other stronger established companies.

Why are most of the dunlops going on sale? is dunlop trying to make room for a new racquet line?

the price hasnt changed in almost 7-8 months. it was even lower when Dunlop USA was being moved to a different distributor late last year to earlier this year. but dunlop looks like it's getting back on track and hopefully, their new lineup of rackets will be at least decent, since they fired their research and development team after the release of the mfil line.

Huh, Snoflewis? :)

THe M-Fil line is "decent." More than decent, actually...I've been demoing the M-fil 300 and it's quite nice. I needed to add lead to bring it up to a good weight for me, but it is a nice stick w/great volleying capability, easy to get power/spin/placement on serves, and I can smack groundies all over the court w/it. I've played my leaded up M-Fil demo and the DNX 9 back-to-back nights to compare them, and the M-Fil it compares very favorably for me.

Now don't ask me about the eye-damaging paint job on the Dunlop... ;)

RedFlea, I actually had an opposite experience to the dunlop (leaded up) I liked it the least out of the racquets I demoed: Volkl C10 Pro, DNX 9, Yonex RDS 001 MP with lead- my favorite, Ncode 6.1 95 in 16x18, POG MP, Fischer M Speed Pro, Yonex Ultimum RD Ti-80. I remember reading that you demoed the RDS 001 mp, what did you think of it?

Liked the RDS MP, but never felt totally comfortable with it. Not sure why, but I couldn't dial in FH (kept hitting long) and the M-Fil 300 was better at the net for me...I think it's a very good racquet overall, just not the one for me. I would defiinitely have the RDS MP on a "short list" of MPs to demo, it has a large sweet spot, very nice solid feel, and a good power/control balance. I didn't care for the 6.1 95, so sounds like we may be ying and yang on the Dunlop/Wilson comparison.... :)
