Well, he was already in on the merit of winning his 21st slam this year and still being in the top 20. Now he gets in on the race points themselves to really throw all questions out the window. Turin is going to be off the chain.

Amazing for how little he got to play this year!

Anyway, to your title question I'm 50/50.

Being allowed back at the AO and peaking at the slams in 2023 would be my wish for Novak.

Team Earth's Mightiest for 2023?

Sign me up.:)

I have had my disagreements with him, but this year has made me appreciate Novak as a player and person more.

Perhaps I'm more unbiased too now that Roger has retired but tbh even before Fed's retirement, I thought things went unfairly against him this year and something tells me all this is going to only turn out for his good.

Easy to think this abbreviated season may be more beneficial than we know! With this level of competition, there's no reason not to believe Nole will probably win at least 2 majors next season regardless of AO disposition! :sneaky::cautious:;):-D

Record tying.

Oldest man to win it has been Fed at 30, now if Novak does it at 35 it will be a unique record.

Indeed but Novak has been less motivated in recent times or tired.

All stars aligning now.

Winning 1 of 2 Slams allowed in, 2 Masters out of 4 and WTF pretty well gives him strong argument for Player of the Year. Nadal would be only contender.
