Emma Raducanu and Eugenie Bouchard hitting style
Last US Open, seeing Emma hitting the ball for the first time, I thought it looked very similar to the hitting style of Eugenie, especially the forehand.
That is low to the net, flat, deep, aggressive, and in conclusion a high risk shot that rewards in a good day. But in a bad day will lead to many mistakes as it is difficult to keep the level of the rewarding yet risky shot.
The hitting form is very similar, whenever I see Emma hit a forehand, Eugenie is reminded.
The only difference is that Eugenie now makes a lot of mistake (cannot keep the level of that type of hitting) and does not win a match. (She did well in that Wimbledon quite a while ago, when she did not make much mistakes)
Emma does not make a mistake, succeeds in those difficult shots and won the US Open.
Anyone thinking similar to what I am thinking?
