ESPN loves garbage,

Doesn't surprise me that they would mention the biggest has-been sellout band in this universe that released some of the most vile CDs known to mankind (St.Anger, Load, Reload, etc...)

Don't get me wrong, Metallica from 83-until 89 was awesome.

From then until now, I despise them as a band and as individuals. I just wish they would disappear from the face of the earth.

so the black album is rubbish then??
considering they wanted to explore a different sound that album is hardly a selling out, more like extremely good, 90s was bad for all 80s metal bands anyway it was either sell-out or sell-nothing

Gilbert was a student at Bollettieri's, also Lars Urlich was also a student at Bollettieri's. Courier and Lars used to play drums and guitar in Nick's garage before bed time. Lar's father Torben was a Davis cup player. Gilbert knows all of this.

Yes I do find that the Black Album is rubbish.

Of course when I was a kid with an identity crisis, I loved that album but not anymore.

Heavy/Thrash metal died in the early 90's. I mean I'd say only Heathen is the only last good thrash metal band now. Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, Sodom,Kreator, Forbidden, Vio-Lence, Exodus, etc... they all suck now.

Yeah I remember that ****** Ulrich could of been a tennis player. How scary that would of been

I thought Testament and Megadeth's last albums were quite good, not as good as in their hayday but solid.

I'm glad you think so.

But then again you're probably talking to the wrong guy.

I used to love Thrash Metal alot back a few years ago, I'm mostly into the Old School Swedish Death Metal scene now. Very few bands impress me. Although if you have the chance, check out Torture Squad's Pandemonium, Heathen's latest work, Destruction's latest work is not bad either.

Maybe they should use Cannibal Corpse or A$$jack when Serena plays.
