2000 - 22 year old Belarusian qualifier Vladimir Voltchkov reaches SF losing to Pete Sampras. In the process he beats likes of Wayne Ferreira and Christian Ruud. Honorable mention: 23 year old German Alexander Popp reaching QF.
2001 - 29 year old Croatian qualifier Goran Ivanisevic wins Wimbledon by beating Patrick Rafter, Tim Henman, Marat Safin and Juan Carlos Ferrero in the process.
2002 - 25 year old Brazilian Andre Sa reaches QF losing to Tim Henman. 2nd round was his best on all the other Grand Slams in his career. Highest career ranking was number 55 that year.
2010 - 26 year old Chinese Taipei Lu Yen-hsun reaches QF losing to Novak Djokovic. Beat number 5 seed Andy Roddick in 4th round. Career high number 33 that year, never again reached more than 3rd round of a Grand Slam, 0 career titles.
2011 - 19 year old Aussie hot head qualifier Bernard Tomic reaches QF losing to Novak Djokovic, beat Robin Soderling in 3rd round and Nikolay Davidenko in 1st round. He was seen then as a great tennis prospect and possible future Grand Slam winner, but we all know how his career went by.
2013 - 31 year old Polish Lukasz Kubot reaches QF losing to another Polish Jerzy Janowicz. Being a double specialist, never won a singles title in his career.
2023 - 27 year old American Christopher Eubanks reaches QF where he will play against number 3 seed Daniil Medvedev. Eubanks never before played on Wimbledon and has reached 2nd round of AO and USO, 1st round of RG in his career. No ATP singles titles. 25 year old Russian Roman Safiullin reaches QF where he will play against Jannik Sinner, no ATP titles, highest career ranking will be at least number 43 after this Wimbledon, before that it was number 82.
