Sharapova also has an annoying face and boring game (ball-basher, lacks variety).
I just don't like seeing them on the television screen.

Otha, you're taking this too far. Annoying attitude, breaking the Fedal duopoly, MTO tactics ... all these reasons to hate Djokovic are questionable to start with but now I have to hear that he has an annoying face? Omala.

Simple. He is Serbian and he has character. People usually dont like other people which have character and can stand for themselves. And beating the **** of Federer which most people taught hes the best player ever didnt help either. But thats OK, he have enough fans. And after many posts i read on this forum i can make conclusion that most of the Djokovic fans have better rational thinking compared to Fed fans which mostly based on emotions.

Could be a combination of 6 Factors.

- Personality which is not even a fraction as charming as Federer's or Safin's
- Tries too hard to blend in with unnecessary fake antics all his careers like comic impersonations, boob throw, unnecessary diplomacy with words which look fake too.
- Me against the world attitude that he portrayed, tried to look like a victim.
- The habit of going against the popular trend, whether it is rejecting Nike or rejecting the vaccine or opening some lame PTPA etc etc.
- Cringe obsession with being loved that makes him do weird things, people know he craves for love, that is also very unattractive. Love should be given freely without asked, if you ask it then it is a turnoff.
- Last but not the least, being from Slavic country and bringing down the dominance of the western Tennis Goat Federer and his sidekick Mallorcan Bull also has played its role.

American media was controlled by hyper liberals. Politics over everything.

You saw the opening day, freaking Michelle Obama, a former president's wife was on stage before Djokovic match. She was there for talking up equal pay. And President Obama and her were there just for the Coco Gauff match.

America doesn't care what records even Rafa will have. It's all in our imagination.
