Favorite Players and Favorite Surface to Play On

Which players do you like to watch and when you play tennis yourself, what's your preferred surface? I'm curious to see if people generally like playing on the surface that suits their favorite players. Grass courts are scarce (at least where I come from) so this might end up being a clay vs HC thing.

My favorite players are Federer, Murray and Tsonga.

My favorite surface to play on is clay because I love the way it feels under my feet, love sliding and love long rallies/going for crazy angles. I have better results on HC because I hit relatively flat and I'm 5'8" so heavy topspin can sometimes be a problem in clay matches. I still get way more excited to play on clay than HC though.

Personally I like watching clay and grass courts because of the variety of shot selection, dropshots, slices, etc. I like playing on clay the best

I'm a 5.0 player and have played on hard courts and clay courts. I play well on both so I don't have a favorite surface.

Favourite players: Federer, Djokovic, Nishikori, Murray/Nadal

My favourite surface: Clay no doubt. Grass is nice too, but I'm just much much better on clay.

I like to watch Roger demolish the competition on grass and fast hards.
I like to watch Nadalovic knock the stuffing out of each other on clay.

My favourite surface to play on is fast hards.
SHBH, net-rushing, winners. All perfect.

Grass feels strange, and clay makes my shoes dirty.

Slow hards are horrible.

I love fast attacking tennis, so of course I like to watch players who are good on fast HC and grass and have attacking styles.

But, I like to play mostly on clay, because it's good on your body. My health comes before player worship.

I don't find boring watching great servers when they play great returners. It's only boring when returners are weak.
