I'm new here...so i'd like to Know who are your favourite players.

About me...


First of all I'm a Marat Safin fan!
Then...i like A-Rod.Mardy Fish,LLeyton Hewitt,Max Mirniy...

How many tennis player we have here!?
With which raquet you play!?

from the current players its Roger Federer,Marcos Baghdatis,Marat Safin, Nadal , Jelena Jankovic, Venus Williams, and Henin..... Ive been playing for 22 years,Im 25 years old.I use a head liquid metal.

My all time favorite players are Andre Agassi,Pete Sampras,Jimmy Connors, John Mcenroe,Bjorn Borg, and Roger Federer, Throw in Graf as well.

Hey Tommy, what parta Italy you from? We're all in the same page so far- I'm a huge Safin fan (wish he'd get his fitness back/recover his footwork!), and my other current faves are federer, venus williams, baghdatis and gasquet, who i watched steamroll Mahut at Wimbledon this year. I'm from London and I've been playing on/off for 4 years, now starting to play more regularly, and use a Head Flexpoint Prestige MP

I love safin...and i'm similar to him as a player,unfortunately for his embarassing fitness... :lol:

What kind of tennis do you play!?
I've got a very powerful first serve...but the 2nd serve is one of my weakness,with the fact that i'm not a fast runner...
I always try to get the point asap...hitting with strenght every ball and following them to the net several times...

Oh...about women's tennis...
I'm in love with maria....but i also like miss kirilenko,exspecially her back......hand lol!

But i think that the best is AMELIE!

Today i've lost the most stupid match in my career...
3rd round...

I was winning 60 41...It ends 60 46 06


At 4-4 in the second set i was totally gone crazy...

Yes...i was totally out of the match!
First of all because i'm not that good athlete...then in the first set i killed the guy in front of me with a dozen of aces and many winners...
In the second set,when the fuel was ending...i realized that i can't "BANG" every f***in' ball...

Fuel ended...brain gone.... 06!

Yay! A positive thread!

I'm kind of a pollyanna/lover of all players, but my fave men are: agassi, federer, roddick, safin, hewitt (!), djokovic, rochus, sampras, and I have a strange soft-spot for davydenko.

My fave women: Sharapova, Hantuchova, Amelie, Jelena Jankovic, Nicole Vaidisova, Clijsters, Graff, Venus Williams, Navratilova.

I play with whatever racquet my BF tells me to (not a passive thing, just a he-knows-better thing) so long as I like it, and I have a retreiver style at the moment (I prefer the term "scrapper"), though I see myself developing into a baseliner who still really likes coming into net.

Don't feel bad. We all have our physical/mental meltdown stories. Just don't make it a habit.

I don't have any favorite players anymore. It was all AA. His absence makes tennis a little more sour. There are certainly players that I root for, but I don't really care if they lose. I hope Baghdatis lives up to his potential because I feel like he could be the next rock star in tennis.

My favourite players are first of all Andy Roddick and Novak Djokovic. But I also like Richard Gasquet, Andy Murray and Tommy Haas...

And my favourite woman is only Maria Kirilenko ;)

I will love no player as much as I loved Agassi, but I was almost relieved when he finally retired! Grand Slams were part torture for me because I cared too much, way too much...I couldn't stand to see him lose and I would actually sweat during his matches, sometimes even had to step out of the room during set points. I remember his 5-setter last summer against Baghdatis, standing on my sofa pulling my hair with both hands, practically in tears for the last two entire sets, LOL! I still have his 2005 US Open match with Blake on VHS, and I'm tempted to watch the last couple sets every so often...:p

Ditto. I just cried when he lost. He was the one player that I really looked up to and emulated. I didn't pick up a racquet until I was 15, but one of the reasons was because of him. I have always rooted for the underdog that has his day, and he got plenty of them. After he retired I gravitated to Roddick. He has good heart and is too much fun to watch.

I root for Donald Young, too.

Recent past: Pete, Guga, Rafter, Becker, Stich, Rios, Goran and Corretja.
Distant past: Mac, Leconte, Navratilova, Nastase, Noah, Cash and Ashe.

Sono stato in Italia tutto Gennaio e mezzo Febbraio. Studente nell'Università per Stranieri di Siena. Una borsa corta di perfezionamiento linguistico e culturale. Solo un mese.

Sono stato a Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Firenze, Roma, Viareggio, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Cortona, Arezzo, Volterra ... e monteriggione :D

Me ne vado, sono quasi le 6 della mattina in Argentina! Parliamo dopo!
