Now we have a funny scenario. Nadal is exactly 5 slams behind Federer, Djokovic is exactly 5 behind Nadal, and Murray is exactly 5 behind Djokovic. Yet some would argue the order of likelihood for more future slams of those are in the reverse. Murray then Djokovic then Nadal then Federer. Who is most likely and least likely to catch the person 5 ahead of them in slam wins.

Actually, Djokovic is currently 6 Slams behind Nadal and Murray is now 4 behind Djokovic, so Murray is the one who is currently closest to bridging the gap! ;-)

I don't see Murray catching up with Djokovic given they are the same age racking up slams at roughly the same pace.

Federer is done but Nadal has 1-2 years left in him with up to 4 more majors, so their gap is likely to shrink but unlikely to close.

Murray is never going to be in the GOAT discussion, by the way. He was too unlucky with this Fedalovic era.

Cvac is 6 slams behind Nadal , not 5.
