Federer smash

Federer's last racquet smash, to my knowledge, was in early 2009. He had suffered a year of bad defeats and only one slam, and his forehand/game was completely off. He smashed his racquet and went on to win RG, W, and reach the F of USO.

Is it time for another Federer racquet smash, and if so, when?

Lol...as I recall, he was actually playing Djokovic when he smashed that racquet!

It was. Definitely one of the worst matches they have played. Both played some rubbish tennis, especially Federer. The forehand was playing up, and both guys were struggling big time in the wind. Very ugly match. Novak fared better, and was the more consistent player, so he won.
