Interesting comments. If you can point out any match Federer this year has been the great player he used to be it would be interesting, since I certainly cant think of one.

I would say outside of the Tipsarevic and Joker matches at the Aussie, Fed was playing his usual tennis from the dominant era.

I'm a big Fed fan but I think that Nalbandian(if he gets past Robredo) has a very good chance to beat Federer at this moment.I hope Federer raises his game and steps up to the challenge but we'll see how it goes.

Sorry but I am really sick of these lame arrogant excuses here for every Federer match he loses: "He was not 100%, he played poorly, if he could just bring his best game he would win for sure, ...". Reminds me of Serena and her "I was 30-40% today".

Djokovic beat Federer twice fair and square. And Federer was outplayed by better player on the day both times. That is it. Nobody can bring their so called 100% game every time.
You could make the same lame argument that 100% Djokovic would beat Federer in the 2007 US Open final.
