Ferrer is the guy who wins against those below him, and loses to those above him. In any big match against Federer, Djokovic etc, he is fodder.
Today will be a prime example.
If Nishi wins, he will stand a chance against Djokovic in the next round.
If Ferrer wins, he may as well withdraw from the tournament before the next match.
Yet Ferrer could easily beat Nishi.
Also, inb4 Chico suggests I am only saying this because I want Novak to lose.
I would rather he won the tournament than Berdych, for instance.
