Does anyone have any info on this stick? The specs?

I have been playing with a PS 6.0 85 for years but have found it too demanding recently - due to aging and injury I guess :-(

Looking for a more comfortable, slightly maneuverable and powerful alternative to the 85, without too much sacrifice on control.

Thanks in advance.

i'd love to say yes or no but i can't:( VT means vacuum technic but i'm not sure if it is the same racquet. how does it look like? year of release?
VT Pro Classic came out 97/98, it was dark blue with white basic grip, it had a straight beam and a special bumper guard that goes all around the head, the same dominik hrbaty uses on his stick.

Dennis, In the later 90s Fischer made a two racquets called the
'Fischer Revolution Pro Classic 98 + 1.0 cm'
and
'Fischer Revolution Pro 98 + 1.5 cm'

Do you really mean one of the above? Can you provide a link to a picture of it?

Hi AAAA, I finally have the full name of the racket. It's a "Fischer REVOLUTION vacuum pro class 98 +1.5 cm". (These are the words I can find on the racket.)

It's predominantly yellow, with the word "REVOLUTION" in red/orange printed inside the hoop running from 1 to 4 and also 8 to 11 o'clock. I'll probably take some pics when I decide to sell it.

Dennis, Thinking about it the Fischer REVOLUTION vacuum pro classic was about 27.4 inches so the +1.5cm sounds more correct than the + 1cm I originally wrote. I used to own one.

Specs I remember:
constant flat profile 20mm or 21mm.
unstrung weight was 320grams or 325.
Flex felt stiffer than Vacuum Pro Classic(64ish) but like all vacuum frames it was very comfortable.
string pattern was open - 16X19 from memory.

Stich used/endorsed this frame when he switched from the Vacuum Pro Classic 90".

To be absolutely sure we're talking about the same frame, if your racquet has matt finish darkish sunburnt yellow paint then it's the Rev. Pro Classic. If the paint is shiny lighter yellow with a glossy feel then it's the Rev. Pro - no Classic in name.

Brilliant racquet glad you found one.

I am fairly sure it was a tapered beam, going from 20 to 24 or 25. Very soft frame, very nice on groundstrokes, high swingweight about 340 or so, not especially mobile. Were I you, Dennis Chan, I would look first at a M Speed Pro One, or an old Pro One, or try the Slazenger X1 or something along those lines..

Dennis, I appreciate your efforts in getting those pictures onto the web. Now that I can see the pictures I can without any doubt tell you I once owned one of those racquets.

Ronaldo, The racquet shown via the link is the Revolution Pro while Dennis has the Revolution Pro Classic. Thanks for the link though as it gives everyone interested in this thread a look at the differences between the two versions.

Back to Dennis - Dennis you wrote

'I'll probably take some pics when I decide to sell it.'

and then in a later post ask

'Has anyone used this before?'

I have, as said above. Do you want my opinion of the racquet? If you say yes I'll reply as soon as possible.

AAAA, please share your experience. I am selling it but who knows. Maybe I'll never sell it because of its poor condition. And if I hear enough good things about it then I may be tempted to string it up.

Thanks in advance.

I have 4 rev pro classics if anyone is interested. Grip size 4 1/2
javiersergio, the tension range on that racquet is very narrow (55-57 lbs) and something soft like a sensation or nxt 17 works great for feel and comfort.

Just in case if I like the racquet, How much are you asking for ? Are they new or used?

thanks

Please contact me at vkartikv@yahoo.com. I am asking $40 or less depending on the condition of the frames (anywhere from like new to 8/10), exceptionally cheap!
