On the eve of the "biggest college football game of the century", Michigan icon Bo Schembechler has died of a heart attack at the age of 77. Tomorrow the team he coached for 21 years, Michigan (#2) plays #1 Ohio State in one of the fiercest rivalries in sports. This is enormous news here in Michigan, and will be across the US. RIP Bo.

I know. I am a huge Michigan fan and have been waiting for this game since week three! What a difficult emotion to sort out when the face of Michigan football passes but yet the game of the century is the next day.

I heard about it after coming back from classes and I was shocked by his death and especially the timing of his death.
It's been real solemn here in ann arbor.
I'm really excited about the game tomorrow,
but I also feel terrible about Bo's death.
BTW, I just saw the Michigan football players up close today when they were getting on the buses to get to Columbus.
Pretty sweet

as a huge football fan - i am saddened to hear about this news of the passing of such an iconic figure. i had a co-worker meet him at an event last year in Detroit and she said he could not have been any nicer. my thoughts are with his family.

someone asked me today who i'd be rooting for - as a third party observer - now i know. i'll be pulling the wolverines! go big blue! (i'm a sentimental push-over)

Michigan's D was downright pathetic when it needed a big stop.I will say that the penalty was BS!!!!!!!

That helmet to helmet was just plain stupid by Michigan...huge Michigan fan here and am disappointed with their defense in this game but still great game to watch congrats to OSU on getting into the title game.
