Is Marcos playing at his best level or his come-back level? How's Fed doing.. He's saving quite a few bp's now, so doesn't look too great.

he played pretty close to his best.I can already see the improvements Lundgren has brought. He is concetrated on the match, and even though he misses some chances he still keeps his head in.His serve has transformed back to its old self.I am very satisfied by his perfomance tonight.:)

Federer played well really well.Brilliant when it was needed.

Another bad poll. It's multiple choice, I chosed everyone so in the end I am sure I picked the right guy, LOL. On a serious note, Fed MUST win it.

Federer def Kiefer 6-1 6-4
and now Kohli vs Blake is on!Kohli already up 3-2 with a break.Blake is a joke on grass anyway.Auf geht's Kohli!:D

You never know. ;) 2008 is already seen as the year of tennis upsets.
But i'd still like to see Roger win. He needs this more than Philipp right now.

Come on,even if the all the Germans in the stadium start booing and throwing stones at Federer-he would still win.But good run here Kohli!Expected win against Blake ;)

As a German speaker, I think Fed is very popular in Germany. So I doubt the fans would boo him at all.

he's a german-speaker Swiss against a german-speaker German so it's obvious who the crowd will back up-though you're right they won't boo him-they quite like Roger-not to mention they are Germans! They rarely boo in the first place!:)

Final is underway. Both held an easy first game, but then Roger had to save two bp's already in his second one, he's won four points in a row from 15-40 down to hold. 2-1

Roger gets his first Breakpoint of the match and immediately converts it like he always did. 5-3 opening set, while from the scoreboard it seemed Kohlschreiber had the better of it so far.

Fed looks very comfortable at his service games

He hasn't lost one this week. That's pretty awesome. He also didn't lose a set, I think he didn't need a tiebreak. I'm very happy it's going smooth for him. Hopefully, he can win wimbledon, then we'll have the USO to decide the no. 1. Those three players could be considered very equal this year.

Well done, Fed. Bring on Wimbledon!

I think he's ready. That's pretty amazing too. Roger Federer's been totally smashed by Nadal last Sunday. Everyone saw him getting his ass kicked in the one match he wants to win most now. You start to feel he's taken a huge hit for his confidence, but once the guy gets on grass he's feeling in touch with himself and pretty much outplays everyone in Halle. Sure, the field is not as strong as in Queens (apart from Roger himself), but he's doing well.

He's still the favourite to win Wimbledon for me. Novak and Nadal are playing awesome though and he can't afford to play his second-best tennis, that's for sure.

Great week for Roger in Halle,he looks in good form ahead of Wimbledon although he'll have his hands full there this year with Nadal and Djokovic.I still consider him the favourite though and I think he'll win Wimbledon again.

Great win by Federer and it just shows that the "real" final and test for him was Baghdatis-also judging by the score-but I'm very satisfied by his perfomance here and optimistic about his campaign to win yet again the Wimbledon.

Pame Roger!!:D
