Getting "up" for lots matches

I probably hit/play 6 or 7 days a week.....

If I play 4 matches a week (league or friendlies)... I find myself having a hard time competing. I find myself escaping, treeing, losing focus, rationalizing, bad attituding, etc.

Is this burn out or just over stimulation ? Do you all (would you all) have the same issue?

Basically, I think I'm cutting back to 3 "matches" as week (max) and the other days, I plan to "work on" something. I love to "practice" and learn - but I'm always conflicted when trying to do this in a match (when the idea is to "win").

Thanks for your thoughts, comments and/or experiences...

I play better the more competetive matches I play. If I take part in a longer tournament I'll find myself playing much better tennis on the last day than the first.
