They have a nutty manager, a volatile mix of players, watched their city act like bandwagoners in embracing the Cubs, and almost choked down the stretch. Yet, they got their revenge in beating the Twinkies, oops Twins, 1-0 tonight!!!

Now they have to face the Devil Rays, but I'm glad the ChiSox got to the postseason. 2 LA teams, 2 Chicago teams, and no Yankees in the postseason. Loving it. :twisted:

Choke does not even begin to describe their woeful offense. 2 hits against a guy on 3 days rest - unacceptable, especially when you have an MVP candidate on your teams (Morneau) and the MLB batting champ (Mauer).

It was a fantastic game last night, and considering neither team was supposed to be there at the end, it was a good story. It's just a shame that the Twins were the ones who couldn't get the run across home plate.
