I know Google Buzz is fairly new, and I don't know much about it myself. But I think as it evolves, it might be a great social networking tool for tennis (or any sport) aficionados.
Imagine setting up a local Google Buzz chapter for tennis freaks. People can put on an "available" status if they are available to play a pickup match, or just meet for practice, demo equipment, etc. And people can get together based on their locations. No one would have to go solo to the courts anymore!
